The logistics services of Ofogh Chakad Darya Company are consisting of transportation, unloading, loading and storage of containers in several terminals for imported containers in Shahid Rajaei port, are concentrated in a container area that has a concrete surface.
This operation is performed with the assistance of advanced facilities (two transtainers, four reach stackers and fourteen forklifts) with specialized and trained personnel with handhelds and container terminal management software that is for connecting and synchronizing humans and machines.
It is worth mentioning that this company has the only specialized terminal for dangerous goods in Iran, which specially stores containers containing dangerous goods.
Full imported containers containing dangerous goods are transferred to Ofogh Chakad Darya Dangerous Goods Terminal after unloading from the vessel for means of storage. In this terminal, according to the 9 classes of dangerous goods and types of containers (20 feet, 40 feet, ISO Tank) and in accordance to the IMDG instructions provided by the IMO International Maritime Convention separate depots has been considered for containers.
During the storage time of dangerous imported goods in this terminal, specialized and trained personnel in accordance with instructions and regulations with use of special equipment such as thermometers as well as monitoring the protection unit in the area, check and evaluate situation and condition of the containers.
The fire station located in the terminal and the fire hydrants that cover the terminal are among the measures taken by this terminal to prepare for possible incidents and better and safer storage of imported dangerous goods.
